The
Monastery of Gradac, built in the second half of the 13th century,
is an endowment of Helen of Anjou, the wife of King Uros I. The church is
predominantly in the style of the autochthonous Raska school, though with
certain Gothic elements. Few frescoes have survived, but those that have
are similar in style to those of the nearby Monastery of Sopocani.
