Deserved triumph: Red Star's players

Belgrade, 26th June - In 51st Yugoslavia's Cup Final, Red Star of Belgrade defeated its rival Partizan 4-2 (2-2) and became the winner of this competition for 17th time.

In the first half time, after the quick leading with 2-0 already in the seventeenth minute, Red Star missed the chance to knocked out its traditional opponent.

Partizan utilized awkwardness of Red Star players in the offense and managed to return to the match by goals of Rasovic from penalty and Kezman.



In the second half-time, Red Star started even stronger and its better play was crowned by Skoric's goal from penalty and then at the very end in 86th minute Gojkovic only confirmed the deserved triumph.


Red Star Stadium. Attendance: 25,000. Referee: Krstivoje Filipovic (Belgrade). Scorers: Skoric (16 and 62-penalty), Pjanovic (17) and Gojkovic (86-penalty) for Red Star, Rasovic (37-penalty) and Kezman (45) for Partizan. Booked: Pjanovic, Skoric and Micic (Red Star), Bjekovic, Stanojevic, Kezman and Ivic (Partizan).
