Katowice, Poland, January 4th - Men's Yugoslav national volleyball team has, without much difficulties, achieved another victory in the qualifying tournament for the Olympics in Sidney, defeating in three sets the Czech national team (29-27, 25-20, 25-15).
As the results show, the Czechs demonstrated highest ability in the first set. The Yugoslavs have indulged in the game most vigorously at the very end, and after the fifth set-point won this part of the game - 29:27.
In the second set, the Yugoslav players were, once again, more concentrated at the end, and so in the third set, lasting only 17 minutes, showed their best and celebrated a routine victory.
In the third round, on January 5th, in the derby of the entire qualifying tournament, Yugoslavia will play against the official Olympics' winner - Netherlands.
