Buducnost - Dunaferr 27-25
Buducnost from Podgorica has, before 7.000 enthusiastic spectators, in the quarter-finals second-leg match celebrated a deserved win over the official European champion, the Hungarian Dunaferr, and reached the women's handball Champion's League semi-finals.
The key players of this great triumph were Maja Bulatovic and Sandra Kolakovic, who, together, scored 14 out of 27 goals for the Yugoslav champion.
Sintelon was eliminated from the Men's Cup of Cities, despite excellent performance in the semi-finals second-leg match against Valladolid in Backa Palanka. Before 2,000 fans, Yugoslav team had a 27-15 lead during the match and great opportunity to make a real accomplishment (first-leg match ended 32-20 for Spanish team), but in the last minutes missed some key chances to score.
