Lovcen the champion

Cetinje, May 17th - Lovcen Cetinje defeated Metaloplastika Sabac 29-24 (15-9) in the last round of the Yugoslav men's handball championship, and for the first time in their history became Yugoslav champions.

Club from Cetinje won its title deservedly, because during the larger part of the Championship, it had the leading position in the standings and ended the competition with the impressive score of 27 victories, one tie and only two defeats.

So far, it is certain that Lovcen will play in the European Champions' League, while Sintelon will represent Yugoslav handball in EHF Cup. Other participants of the competitions in the European cups will be known after the games in the Yugoslav Cup.
