Sintelon - Red Star 25-23

Jagodina, Yugoslavia, June 20th (Tanjug) - Handball players of Sintelon from Backa Palanka, for the first time in the history of their club, won this year's Yugoslavia Cup.

In the finals of the competition, this evening in Jagodina, they beat Red Star from Belgrade with 25:23 after the equal playing.

In front of 1200 spectators, referees were Ratko Ibronjev and Nebojsa Grkovic.

Before that, in the semifinals, Sintelon eliminated the team of Partizan from Belgrade (26:23), while Red Star won the match against players of Lovcen from Cetinje, who gave up the competition.
