Belgrade, July 12 - Yugoslav men's basketball national team coach Zeljko Obradovic announced today the list of 16 candidates who will start preparations for Sydney.
Gathering of candidates and beginning of preparation period is
scheduled for Sunday, 16th July in "Hyatt Regency Hotel" in
Belgrade. The following players are on the list:
GUARDS: Marko Jaric (Virtus Bologna, Italy), Dragan Lukovski (Red Star Belgrade), Igor Rakocevic (Minnesota Timberwolves, USA), Sasa Obradovic (Buducnost Podgorica, Yugoslavia), Aleksandar Djordjevic (Real Madrid, Spain), Vlada Scepanovic (Efes Pilsen, Turkey), Predrag Danilovic (Virtus Bologna, Italy), Nikola Loncar (?), Dejan Bodiroga (Panathinaikos Athens, Greece).
FORWARDS: Milan Gurovic (Barcelona, Spain), Predrag Stojakovic (Sacramento Kings, USA), Dejan Milojevic (FMP Zeleznik Belgrade), Dejan Tomasevic (Buducnost Podgorica, Yugoslavia).
CENTERS: Dragan Tarlac (Olympiakos-Chicago Bulls), Predrag Drobnjak (Efes Pilsen, Turkey), Zeljko Rebraca (Panathinaikos Athens, Greece).
