Russia in Belgrade on April 25, 2001

Zurich, Switzerland, October 11 - FIFA decided that the qualifying match of group one for World Cup 2002 between Yugoslavia and Russia will be played in April 25 next year.

FIFA complied with the wish of Russian Football Association that the match against Yugoslavia will not to be played in November 15 this year, since their national championship finishes at that time, and clubs have international obligations.

It was decided also that the match between Yugoslavia and Faroe Islands will be played in August 15 in 2001.
