Yugoslavia football star Predrag Mijatovic has threatened to quit Fiorentina if
he is not given a place in the starting line-up.
Mijatovic has been out of favour at the Florence club since former
Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim took charge in the summer.
"I've spoken to Terim in the last few days but he's not the problem," the former Real Madrid striker said. "The fact is that after a good start to the season I find
myself as the fourth attacker and that's not a good sign."
Fiorentina's attack has been led this season by Portugal's
Nuno Gomes, Brazilian Leandro and in recent matches by Italian
international Enrico Chiesa.
"In football you can see when a player isn't happy and I'm not here to sit on the bench or in the stands," Yugoslav striker said.
Mijatovic, 31, is rumoured to be a target for Benfica and Galatasaray, as well as
English Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur.
