Nenad Perunicic still uncertain

Belgrade, December 7 - Manager of Yugoslav men's national handball team, Branislav Pokrajac, named a preliminary 21-man squad for the 2001 World Championship in France. Pokrajac will cut the squad to 16 players before the tournament, which kicks off on January 23.

It is still uncertain whether Nenad Perunicic will be in the team, since he is too exhausted to play for the national team at this moment, Pokrajac said. The first goalkeeper of the national team from Sidney Dejan Peric will not go to France due to elbow injury.
