YUGOSLAVIA - Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 (2-0)

Duljaj and Bogdanovic celebrate after winning the Millennium Cup

Calcutta, INDIA, January 25 - Yugoslavia won the Sahara Millennium Cup after beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in the final of the Indian tournament, courtesy of goals from Igor Duljaj (7) and Igor Bogdanovic (45).

The outcome was determined by two mistakes in the Bosnia defence, which Yugoslavia took full advantage of. The first goal was the result of quick counter-attack in the 7th minute which saw striker Igor Bogdanovic dribble his way past the defence with deft footwork and send Igor Duljaj clear - the defender finding the net with a crisp volley.

On the stroke of half-time Igor Bogdanovic stole the limelight with a superb solo effort. Receiving a good pass from defender Ivan Ilic, the Vojvodina Novi Sad forward broke through the defence with blistering pace and fired an unstoppable left-foot shot past Bosnia goalkeeper.
