Becej, YUGOSLAVIA, January 27 - The first match of the reigning European champion from Becej was closer than experts had expected. The hosts played a very strong opening period, but finally missed a clear result.
The French champion Olympique caught up and narrowly lost 11-12. Becej's Aleksandar Sapic scored five goals to take the top of the Champions League's scorers list after first game in "Red" group.
