YUGOSLAVIA vs. Italy

Wienna, AUSTRIA, February 20 - Yugoslavia will play Italy in the play-off match for the Men's European Championship in Sweden 2002. The first leg match will be held in Italy on the 2nd or 3rd of June, the second leg match is scheduled to be played in Yugoslavia on the 9th or 10th of June.

The other play-offs matches are: Turkey - Croatia, Belarus - Iceland, Lithuania - Ukraine, Switzerland - Hungary, Slovakia - Germany, Poland - Norway, Bosnia-Herzegovina - Denmark, Israel - FYR Macedonia, Netherlands - Portugal, Finland - Czech Republic.

Five national teams have already secured their places at the European championship - Sweden (as a host of the championship), Russia, France, Spain and Slovenia (according to their rankings at previous European championship).
