Jevtic among top ten
Ostend, BELGIUM, March 24 - The best Yugoslav female athlete Olivera Jevtic finished ninth at the 29th IAAF World Cross Country Championship long race in Ostend, Belgium. She timed at 29 minutes, 3 seconds for the 7,700 metres.
Paula Radcliffe of Britain won the women's long race, on the muddy, wind-lashed course in 27:49, edging favorite Gete Wami of Ethiopia and Lydia Cheromei of Kenya.
