Russia name newcomer Dayev in squad

Moscow, RUSSIA, April 19 (Reuters) - Russia coach Oleg Romantsev
named one newcomer, Torpedo Moscow fullback Vyacheslav Dayev, in
his 21-man squad, announced on Thursday, for next week's World
Cup qualifier against Yugoslavia in Belgrade.
Romantsev also included Zenit St Petersburg defender Alexei
Igonin after an 18-month absence but dropped Spartak Moscow
midfielder Viktor Bulatov.
The Russians, who lead European group one on 10 points from
four matches, face Yugoslavia, in fourth place with five points
after three games, on April 25.
The match was originally scheduled for last October in
Belgrade but had to be postponed amid political turmoil in Yugoslavia.
