La Coruna, SPAIN, July 12 (agencies) - Deportivo La Coruna have completed the signing of Yugoslavia star Goran Djorovic from Celta Vigo.
The 29-year-old defender has signed a four-year-contract with the Galician club and joins on a free transfer after serving out his contract with Celta.
Coach Javier IruretaIt took Djorovic to Spain from Red Star Belgrade in 1997 when he was coach of Celta, and he has now signed the player for a second time.
Djorovic made his international debut in 1994 against Brazil at Porto Alegre and started every game for Yugoslavia during France 98.
Deportivo, who finished second in La Liga last season and will be playing Champions' League football next season, have already signed former Spain midfielder Jose Emilio Amavisca from relegated Racing Santander and defender Hector Berenguer from second division champions Sevilla.
