Fukuoka, JAPAN, July 25 - With Petar Trbojevic putting Yugoslavia 7-3 up at the start of the fourth period, Hungary was in serious trouble. But the Hungarians managed to score three successive goals, one from Vari and two from Tamas Kasas. Aleksandar Sapic scored his third goal (nine for the tournament) only 48 seconds left. After a Hungarian timeout, Gergely Kiss scored with 18 seconds to go but Yugoslavia maintained possession until the end.
