Partizan - Cibona 81-76

Belgrade, November 8 - Partizan beat Cibona in the 5th round game of Euroleague. The hosts couldn't count on injured Veselin Petrovic and Stevan Nadfeji, while Cibona's coach Neven Spahija left home young star Josip Sesar.

At the very start of the 100th match of big rivals from former Yugoslavia, Partizan had a lead, but Cibona took control in the second quarter thanks to 19-year-old Planinic who scored 21 points in the first half.

Partizan won the match in dramatic fashion. Thirty seconds before the end Planinic hit two free throws to cut the guests' deficit to 76-80. In the next Partizan's attack, Prkacin stole a ball from Scepanovic but did mistake a few moments later. Partizan's fans could start celebrating.
