Partizan - FTC 5-4
Belgrade, January 20 - Partizan gained a close 5-4 victory
against the Hungarian FTC in the LEN Cup quarterfinal first leg in Belgrade. In a low-scoring match only Slobodan Nikic (Partizan) and Balazs Nyeki (Ferencvaros) scored two goals for their teams.
Partizan had a 5-3 lead, but remained scoreless for the last eight minute. Guests reduced the deficit through Hosnyawszky and secured better chances to advance to the semifinals after second leg in Budapest.
