Yugoslavia to play Italy in EURO 2004 qualifying group

Porto, PORTUGAL, January 25 (agencies) - Yugoslavia will play Italy, Finland, Wales and Azerbaijan in Group 9 of the qualifications for the European football championships, according to the draw which took place in the Portuguese city of Porto on Friday.
The 10 group winners qualify along with Portugal, the host nation, and the 10 second-place team advances to playoffs that will determine five additional berths.
Fifty nations are in qualifying, which starts Sept. 7 and concludes on Nov. 19, 2003. The complete draw (with teams listed in order of seeding):
The championships will be held in Portugal in 2004.
