Belgrade to host EuroBasket 2005

Munich, GERMANY, March 9 - The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) announced today that Belgrade has been awarded the 2005 FIBA European Basketball Championship for Men.

The national federations of Germany and Poland also submitted bids for the 34th European Basketball Championship for Men.
