Belgrade, May 9 - Red Star Belgrade and Sartid Smederevo advanced to the Yugoslav Cup final. In the semifinal matches, Red Star beat Vojvodina in Novi Sad 6-4 on penalties, while Sartid recorded away win against Zeleznik - 3-2.
After dominating the first half, Ivan Gvozdenovic centered for Mihajlo Pjanovic to beat Sasa Todic and give Red Star the lead.
Ljubisa Vukelja's shot struck a Red Star hand and the referee awarded a penalty kick which Igor Bogdanovic converted.
Ivan Randjelovic's save from Ljubisa Vukelja in the penalty shoot out proved decisive and Red Star went through to the final.
Nenad Mirosavljevic and Dejan Kekezovic had put Sartid 2-1 up with Slobodan Markovic pulling a goal back for the home side. Mirosavljevic then added a second before Zoran Majstorovic got a consolation to late on to make the final score 3-2.
The final match is scheduled to be played at Partizan's stadium in Belgrade on May 29.
