Stockholm, SWEDEN, November 3 - Yugoslav men's handball team won sixth place at the World Cup in Sweden. In the 5th place match Yugoslavia lost to Sweden 25-28 (14-12).
Having beaten Denmark 28-24 (16-15) in the final, reigning world champions France won first place. Germany secured third place with a 35-34 after penalties against Russia. Finally, in the seventh place match Egypt defeated Iceland 32-26.
