Savicevic calls in new faces

Match will be played at the "France" stadium in Saint-Denis |
Belgrade, November 18 (uefa.com) - Yugoslavia coach Dejan Savicevic has named two newcomers in his squad for the friendly match against France on Wednesday.
Jovan Markoski, from FK Zeleznik, and FK Partizan's Zvonimir
Vukic have been called up instead of injured captain Predrag
Mijatovic and midfield player Zoran Mirkovic. Yugoslavia, who
last met France 13 years ago in Paris in a goalless draw, are
in UEFA EURO 2004™ Group Four and have four points from
two games, after a draw in Italy and a home win over
Finland.
Savicevic said: "France are the perfect opponent to measure
our abilities at this point and see if our results so far in the
EURO 2004™ qualifications were lucky or if we are on our way
to being a good team, ready for big results. France are
favourites, but we are not outsiders."
