Pesic and Bodiroga lead Barcelona to win King's Cup

SPAIN, February 23 - Barcelona, coached by Svetislav Pesic of Serbia-Montenegro, won the Spanish King's Cup after defeating 84-78 (10-23, 24-34, 48-53, 69-69) Tau Ceramica with overtime.
Barcelona's Dejan Bodiroga has been named the MVP of the tournament. Captain of the Serbo-Montenegrin national team had 20 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal, in 32 minutes, as his team defeated Real 72-59 in the quarterfinals.
Barcelona beat Unicaja 78-77 in the semis. Dejan Bodiroga added 21 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal, in 34 minutes.
In the final, Bodiroga scored (only) 10 points, but grabbed nine rebounds, had seven assists and one block, in 40 minutes.
