Dusan Vujosevic to be new national team coach

Belgrade, March 21 (telebasket.com) - The directive board of the basketball federation of Serbia and Montenegro decided on Friday to name Partizan coach Dusan Vujosevic, new head coach of the national team.

After the refusal of the favorite candidate, Unicaja's Bozidar Maljkovic, and the unclear future of Tau's Dusko Ivanovic, who wasn't able to guarantee that next season won't be coaching in Spain, the only candidate was Partizan's coach.

In the days to come, the duration of the contract will be decided, and it will also be confirmed whether Vujosevic will be able to keep on coaching Partizan, something allowed by the technical committee that proposed the job to Maljkovic a few months ago.
