Podgorica, June 15 - Extremely high temperature in the sports hall "Moraca" in Podgorica prevented many spectators from coming to see the victory of their favorite team. Excellent concentration of the team of Serbia and Montenegro created good defense and their block stopped almost all actions of the Cuban team. Strong but not experienced enough, the Cubans weren't able to find the right strategy and block the reigning Olympic and European champions getting back to their right form.

Novi Sad, June 13 - Serbia and Montenegro and their rivals from the Caribbean both started nervously in front of a packed Vojvodina Sports Center. Although the young Cuban team were impressively strong, much-experienced Serbia-Montenegro won the first set in just 22 minutes.
Thanks to Ivan Miljkovic's spikes and firm blocks of Vujevic and Geric, Serbia and Montenegro won the second set in only 20 minutes.
Well supported by their spectators, hosts managed to clinch victory after only three sets.
