Partizan to face European champions

Tel Aviv, ISRAEL, July 7 - Draw for the 2003-04 Euroleague regular season groups:

Group A: Partizan Belgrade (Serbia-Montenegro), Barcelona (Spain, reigning champions), Olimpija (Slovenia), Cibona (Croatia), Virtus Roma (Italy), Ulker (Turkey), Pau-Orthez (France), AEK (Greece).

Group B: CSKA Moscow (Russia), Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel), Panathinaikos Athens (Greece), Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania), Unicaja (Spain), Krka Novo Mesto (Slovenia), Skipper and Virtus (both from Bologna, Italy).

Group C: Benetton Treviso (Italy), Efes Istanbul (Turkey), Olympiakos (Greece), Adecco Asvel (France), Alba Berlin (Germany), Slask Wroclaw (Poland), Tau Ceramica and Pamesa (both from Spain).

The 2003-04 Euroleague competition will start the 14-game regular season on November 5.
