Dejan Bodiroga to miss EURO 2003

Belgrade, July 14 - Dejan Bodiroga, one of the best European players, who won the triple crown with Barcelona this season, announced today that he would miss the European Championship in Sweden. Captain of the national team explained at the press conference that he needed a rest, since he played on all national team competitions from 1995.

Bodiroga stressed that his national team career was not over yet. He said that next years Olympics in Athens and the 2005 European Championship in Belgrade are very important to him.
