Igor Rakocevic signs with Red Star Belgrade

Belgrade, October 6, 2003 - Former NBA player Igor Rakocevic (189 cm, 78 kg) signed a one-year contract with his former club Red Star Belgrade.

Rakocevic, who was selected by Minnesota in the second round (51st overall) of the 2000 NBA Draft, averaged 1.9 points and 5.8 minutes per game as a rookie last season.

He was a member of the Yugoslavian national team that won the gold medal at the 2002 World Championships in Indianapolis.
