Kenyans dominate Belgrade marathon
Belgrade, October 18, 2003 - Ogato Benson of Kenya and Russia's Janna Malkova won the 16th Belgrade marathon.
Benson finished in 2 hours, 14 minutes and 48 seconds, while his compatriots took second and third place. Peter Kemei was second with the time 2 h, 15 min, 5 sec and Benjamin Kiptarus was third, clocking 2 h, 16 min, 21 sec.
Janna Malkova won women's race at two hours, 40 minutes and 24 seconds. Vesna Stevanovic of Serbia and Montenegro was second with 2 h, 44 min, 34 sec, while third-placed Natalia Cercez (Moldova) ran 2:45:53.
