UEFA investigates Sinisa Mihajlovic

Nyon, SWITZERLAND, November 5 (uefa.com) - S.S. Lazio defender Sinisa Mihajlovic faces a UEFA disciplinary investigation for an alleged spitting offence against a Chelsea FC player in last night's UEFA Champions League encounter in Rome.

Mihajlovic is alleged to have spat at Chelsea forward Adrian Mutu in the 34th minute of the game, which the English side won 4-0. Mihajlovic was later dismissed for a second bookable offence. The allegations will be dealt with by UEFA on Friday 7 November.
