"Culture is written by heart"

Belgrade, Dec 2, 2003 - The Serbian Ministry of Culture and Media stated that its campaign entitled "Culture is written by heart" was awarded campaign of the year at the recently held Night of Adeaters manifestation.

The poetry and sincerity of children's answers to questions such as what is culture, cultural heritage, artistic freedom, museum, library and others, inspired the audience to start thinking of the importance of these concepts, read the statement and added that the campaign's universal language contributed to the campaign's international success. The campaign was filmed at the 32nd session of the UNESCO General Conference, where it attracted great attention and was highly praised.

The author team of the campaign includes project author and supervisor Srdjan Dragojevic, production director Biljana Prvanovic, directors Radivoje Andric, Balsa Djogo, Ivan Andrijanic and designer Sasa Jelacic.

The first phase of the campaign will be concluded with the publication of a large 2004 calendar containing a month-by-month guide to the most important cultural and media events of the year. The presentation of the calendar will be held at the end of this year.
