Serbian Ministry of Culture and Media invites bids for co-financing public information projects

Belgrade, Dec 22, 2003 - The Serbian Ministry of Culture and Media has invited bids for co-financing public information programs and projects.
The first tender, launched earlier this year, concerns projects and programmes aimed at promoting the culture of dialogue, the language of tolerance and diversity in the media. The projects also cover the promotion of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the support to the local media, minority language media, as well as media information for persons with special needs. The tender closes on Jan 15, 2004.
Candidates interested in co-financing public information programs and projects in the second tender have until Jan 20, 2004 to submit their bids. The programs and projects involve publishing activities, the provision of media information in Serbian for children and young people in Central and Southeastern Europe (Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, Croatia, Albania and Macedonia), as well as the provision of Serbian citizens with media information on the life of Serbian national minorities in Central and Southeast European countries.
