Zoran Zivkovic

Belgrade, Feb 26, 2004 - Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Zivkovic sent his condolences to Macedonian acting president Ljubco Jordanovski for the tragic death of Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski and his associates.

The death of President Trajkovski is a big loss not only for Macedonia and its citizens, but also for Serbia and all Balkan countries which lost a great friend and a genuine partner in joint efforts to build a stable region and integrate into European institutions, said Zivkovic.

The Macedonian President was killed early Thursday when his plane crashed in Southern Bosnia-Herzegovina. The crash also claimed the lives of six Macedonian officials and two pilots.
